2024 U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang

The 2023 U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang was a great success! Thank you to all of the Grandmasters, Masters, Instructors, Participants, and Families for your support!

U.S. Taekwondo Committee is committed to foster and develop Taekwondo as a martial art while maintaining the traditions of Taekwondo. Beginning in 2024, the U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang will transition to an annual event to every 2 years. During a non-U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang year there will be a U.S. Taekwondo Committee Korea Trip opportunity for Dojang owners and their students.

2024 – No U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang or Korea Trip. Only Official State Hanmadangs throughout the United States.

2025 – 13^th U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang. Location TBA

2026 – Korea Trip

2027 – 14^th U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang. Location TBA

In 2024 there will be official State Hanmadangs throughout the United States that are open to all Taekwondo practitioners. The Colorado State Hanmadang will be held in Colorado Springs, CO July 19 and 20, 2024.

Anyone may attend the formal Gala ($60/adults and $35/child). Purchase tickets no later than Sunday, July 23.

Need a Coach Badge?

If you are a Taekwondo Coach, register for a coach badge for a fee of $90 no later than Sunday, July 23, 2023.
