In 2009, the very first U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang was held in Chicago, Illinois. The Hanmadang, which means festival in Korean, is a celebration of Taekwondo! The Hanmadang was created so that kids, teens, adults, families and friends of all ages can compete individually or together and take home some medals!

Get your team together for this year’s Hanmadang in Colorado Springs, Colorado, July 25-27, 2019 at the Broadmoor World Arena, and compete in creative or traditional poomsae, creative breaking, archery, knife throwing, demonstration and more!
